On April 25–26, Hungarian folk art will once again take center stage at the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. The National Dance-House Festival and Folk Art Fair is a meeting point for Hungarian folk dancers, folk musicians, and traditional artisans.
The Association of Hungarian Folk Artists will once again organize a fair of fine handcrafted goods at the National Dance-House Festival this year. As in previous years, our artisans will welcome folk dance enthusiasts with a wide range of products. Artisans will also arrive from beyond the borders, who will amaze visitors with traditional costumes, accessories, and items of domestic culture.
Organized by the Dance-house Association, the event will feature amateur and professional performers from Hungary, as well as from Hungarian minority communities beyond the borders. Visitors can enjoy performances by children’s and adult folk dance ensembles, music school students, and traditional heritage groups, along with presentations of folk customs, dance teaching sessions, and a folk pub atmosphere.
